March 15 - Saturday, 10 am - New Member and Prospective Member Social, Proctor Ramada, Madera Canyon.

April

April 5, Saturday - Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast and President's Reception 8:00 - 10:00 AM - La Posada - By Invitation Only. Click for details.

April 12, Saturday - Visitor Information Station Volunteer Training, Kent Spring Center, 9 am - 10:30 am.

April 13, Sunday - Music in the Canyon - Proctor Ramada 4:00 - 5:00 pm.  Featured will be the Sierra Brass, with Bill Ely, Mike Finkelstein, Ray Soper, Paul May, Bob Szabo and Jim Nickerson.

April 17, Thursday - Educational Nature Walk rescheduled from March 6 for San Cayetano School, 9 am to 12 noon. 

April 21, Monday - Hummingbird Monitoring with George West - Meet at the Mt. Wrightson parking lot from 6:00 to 10:30 AM for shuttle ride down to the banding site. Click above for details.

April 24, Thursday - Peña Blanca Elementary, Educational Nature Walk, 9 am to 12 noon.

May 2, Friday - Board of Directors meeting, Friends in Deed, 9 am.

May 18, Sunday - Music in the Canyon, Proctor Ramada, 4:00 to 5:00 pm.Featured will be popular local celebrities Regina Ford and Joey Lessa, singing familiar standards.  Also performing will be Tamara Kahrimanis with songs from Broadway, as well as a country western style singer (whose name will be announced as soon as it is confirmed).

Dec. ? - Mail out Annual Meeting announcement and board member election ballots. Ballots must be postmarked by Dec. 31.

Dates and times will be announced as the season progresses. You will be requested to sign up for many of the events as space will be limited. Note that some events require volunteer assistance. You can write to Doug Moore, Education Director if you would like to be a docent for the 4th grade Nature Walks at: maderaedu@msn.com.  More events will be added throughout the year.
