Annual meeting - 2008
21st Annual Meeting of the Friends of Madera Canyon
The meeting was held on Saturday morning, January 26, 2008 at the Green Valley Recreation's East Center in Green Valley, AZ. Greeters (Phil English and Lew Denny) were at the door to welcome and sign in members. The FOMC display with photos of wildlife and activities in the canyon was manned by Phil Gantt. Several tables were stationed around the meeting room showing brochures, trail maps, bird lists, education reports, raffle items, membership materials, and breakfast items. One table featured the recently published book by Joan Lewis Madera Canyon Wildflowers. Joan painted all of the 194 plant species shown in the book. If you would like a copy, write to us at: info@friendsofmaderacanyon.org. All proceeds from the sale of the book have been donated to the Friends of Madera Canyon.
