Pima county's design review committee postpones review of cielo madera

Kettenbach development option still up in the air.

The Design Review Committee (DRC) had expected to review and quickly approve Mike Kettenbach's plan to construct a cluster-development of 280 homes at the mouth of Madera Canyon, but after two hours of discussion, the committee members found that the new plan drafted by Kettenbach's consultants was incomplete. They said that there were lots of holes in the revised plan and it looked like it was not professionally put together.

Kettenbach said that he is committed to proceed with the cluster development on his own if necessary by dividing the land into four-acre parcels that requires little county approval.

The next option for county action on this issue is sometime in November.
