NEW MEMBERS JOIN THE BOARD FOR THE 2005 – 2006 YEAR

Four new board members were elected by the FOMC membership and announced at the October 29, 2005 annual meeting. They are Darren Diehr, Rozanne Roman, Susan Sidd, and Michael Weinzierl. The Green Valley Hiking Club Vice-President, Nancy Chandler, joined the board by virtue of her position in the Hiking Club. Newly elected Board President, Carolyn Fowler, appointed Walter Hanson to fill a position vacated by a resigning board member to give FOMC its complete complement of 13 members.

 

By March 2006, some changes were made in the composition of the Board. Nancy Chandler resigned due to health reasons and Walter Hanson also resigned due to other obligations. Harry Vaughan took over Chandler’s hiking club position and joined the board until the Hiking Club held elections for a new Vice President in May. Nancy Crowley was appointed to fill one vacant position leaving one open position on the board as of April 2006.
